Walker Caplan is a writer, editor, and comedian based in New York.
Walker is the co-editor-in-chief of Joyland Magazine. Walker’s plays have been developed and performed by Signature Theatre (VA), New York Musical Festival, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Yale University, and others; Walker’s writing has been published and recognized by Lit Hub, Joyland, Glimmer Train, The Adroit Journal, and Soft Punk; Walker was a Prose Instructor at Ellipsis Writing and recognized by YoungArts as an outstanding educator. And a copywriter.
Walker performs standup and improv comedy around New York (Union Hall, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Club Cumming, other places), and contributes humor writing to Reductress.
As a performer, Walker has helped develop new dramatic and musical works at Yale School of Drama New Plays Lab, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Yale Playwrights Festival, and elsewhere.
